KSM Electronics utilizes the industry’s best automation equipment in order to provide
our customers with the highest quality and some of the fastest cycle times in the
industry. Three of the most efficient pieces of capital equipment in our facility
are described below.
- The TYCO Ampomator CLS IV PC ensures faster production
rates, provides programmable set-ups, promotes repeatable processes without deviation,
and virtually guarantees the elimination of failures. This machine provides better
results, with more accurate and consistent changeovers, allowing KSM to pass the
savings directly to our customers.
- The Komax Gamma 333 PC-B provides all of the services
of the Ampomator CLS IV machine; moreover, it has the ability to operate on 24-hour
cycles with even shorter conversion times. The Komax Gamma 333 PC-B can simultaneously
crimp both ends of the wire, create double crimp connections with three different
contacts, complete a single-ended seal application, tin the stripped wires, and
even mark the wire with precise inkjet applications. All of these capabilities are
automated and closely monitored to ensure the wire is processed in accordance with
all required specifications.
- The Videojet Focus S10 marking machine delivers affordable,
steered-beam laser etching to a wide variety of wiring applications. The printed
results are conveyed in a high resolution, permanent manner at optimum production
speeds.
