Reasons for Return

KSM Electronics RMA Terms & Conditions – Please read carefully.

Prior to returning any product to KSM Electronics, the customer must first obtain a RMA number from KSM.
In order to obtain an RMA number from KSM Electronics, the customer shall request an RMA number by filling out this form “Customer Return Material Request” (F-820-19) through the KSM Electronics website.

Only products covered under the 12 months KSM Warranty Policy (F-820-15) can be returned to KSM Electronics.

The minimum value of the product(s) must be USD 150.00 in order to receive an RMA number. In the event that the value of the product(s) to be returned is less than USD 150.00 and is covered by the KSM Warranty Policy, KSM Electronics will issue a credit to the customer.

In the event, the product is found defective and not within the warranty term, or the product cannot be repaired, replaced or credited in accordance with the applicable warranty terms or client specific contract, KSM Electronics will inform the customer accordingly. KSM Electronics and the customer may discuss a solution and the corresponding costs. If the customer and KSM Electronics do not reach agreement on the solution and the corresponding costs, KSM Electronics will be entitled to return the product to the customer at the expense of the customer, and KSM Electronics will be entitled to charge inspection costs in the amount of USD 150.00.

Upon receipt of out of KSM warranty product, KSM Electronics will present the repair or replacement options and cost to the customer, and the customer will have 14 business days to acknowledge and agree to the proposed solution by sending a purchase order to KSM Electronics, the customer agrees to the proposed course of action. Extensions to the 14 days must be requested by the 10th business day. If no extension is requested and no purchase order are received by the 14th business day, the RMA will be considered abandoned, and the products will be returned to the customer unrepaired and at the customer’s expense.

Should it be found during the troubleshooting and repair process that the product was damaged due to customer negligence, any warranty of that product will be considered voided.

If the RMA request is valid, an RMA Shipping Authorization will be sent in a separate email. Shipment of the defective product back to KSM Electronics is only authorized once the customer receives the Shipping Authorization Form from KSM Electronics. Shipping of the defective product back to KSM Electronics without the Shipping Authorization and RMA number issued may result in the incoming shipment to be rejected and returned at the customer’s expense.

Once the customer receives the Shipping Authorization and the RMA number, the customer will have 30 business days to ship the defective product to KSM Electronics. Request for extension to these 30 business days must be made no later than day 25th business day. If no extension is requested, the RMA request will be considered abandoned, and the customer must request another RMA prior to shipping back the defective product.

KSM Electronics is not liable for damage caused during shipping to or from the KSM Electronics facility. KSM Electronics assumes liability from the time of receipt of the defective product from the authorized shipping agent at the KSM Electronics facility. The customer assumes the burden of ensuring that the shipment of the defective product to KSM Electronics is protected from damage with adequate packaging. If the product is further damaged during shipment, any current warranty will be considered voided.

All shipments must be labeled with the RMA number issued by KSM Electronics.

The customer is required to pay all shipping cost associated with shipping any defective product not covered under warranty to/from KSM Electronics.

KSM Electronics will cover all shipping cost associated with shipping any defective product to/from KSM Electronics for any product covered under the KSM Electronics warranty.
